Rapper Da’Mont Wants to Shed Light on the Other Side of the Dallas Fort-Worth Rap Scene.

All of us have heard the saying everything is bigger in Texas and it’s no different with the notoriety and attention for Dallas’ rap scene. Rappers like The D.O.C., Yella Beezy, Dorough, Asian Doll, and the late MO3 are some of the area’s brightest names, but we can classify almost all of them under a certain subsection of rap that’s valid but not always inclusive. For rapper Darian Da’Mont Hadley, his music reflects the story of the everyday man, whose only goal is to help makes sense of the crazy world we live in.

When asked about what his goal is, Da’Mont simply says, “We don’t have that much range to be the second-biggest state in the U.S. and the market is really small. I really want to pioneer and be the one that changes that scene.”
