With dating, you need to know what style of play you most resemble so you can date appropriately.
There are a lot of analogies that are associated with love. Music is the most easily recognizable analogy with many references to our hearts resembling iceboxes, stereos and just about any other inanimate object.
Sports is next in line. Baseball references to bases invoke images of all forms of expression in our minds. Whether it’s tennis and its references to love or golf references to getting a hole in one, we’ve run the gamut, so to speak of sports references.
Putting aside the most obvious one in basketball, shooting your shot, I have yet to hear someone analyze the game of love in a way that most complements the nature of the sport of basketball.
Sure enough, I frequently hear single people discuss and use basketball analogies, often talking about their rosters and how they have a starting five. The more ambitious ones discuss which type of player they are.
For men who are wingmen, they often say they are point guards setting their friends up for wins while others say they can score with the best of them, racking up many conquests. Let all of them tell it, they are Hall of Fame material and deserve to have their jersey retired.
